I have a 1990 Montero, 3.0 V6, with a 5speed manual transmission, and I've broken the gear shift lever. I have not been able to nail down an appropriate "word" to define the part, so in layman's terms...it's the lever with 1-5 & R on it, to select the gear you want. Easy right? Now find it on a parts website....HELP!! I should note I believe it to be a V5MT1-1 (or -2) model...I'm not sure how to tell them apart... From the ball to the bearing where it enters the top of the transmission.
