First I big howdy to ya'll. New sportage owner and I just found this site. I was looking at the main index and it shows more than 4000 threads in the sportage section but when I enter the forum I only see two pages with about 15 total threads. Where are the rest and how do I access them.
Thanks.

There's a box in the lower-left corner of the "extra information" area at the bottom of the forum's main page. The default is to show the last 2 weeks worth of posts. You can change that to a few months or all posts. Then you'll just have to scroll through the pages. You can also find posts and threads through a standard Google search, which often shows posts on 4x4wire. It has worked better for me than the forum search, at times. Hope that helps...

The "Google Search" at the top of each page is actually custom tailored to search 4x4wire first before pulling in results from the web. That is once you get past the ads...

It is different from the "Search" function specific to the forums, which does leave a lot to be desired.

Check out the other section of the site for additional news and information. Through 4x4wire and it's other integrated sites (www.4x4voice.com and MUIRNet.net), information about administrative actions that adversely impact 4x4 recreation opportunity is always current.

Oh nice. I didn't realize the Google search bar was forum oriented.
Going to try it next time I'm looking for something specific. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

I always thought the forum's search feature wasn't giving me all I was looking for. Though it is nice that you can have it only look in one section for vehicle specific stuff.

And welcome to the forum speadphreak. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />
