Well after putting it off as long as I could it's time to fix my leaks. Tranny cooler line out the side of the pan was cross threaded at the fitting. No way to repair needs replacement. Seal at shifter leaking replacement. 2 pan bolts wrung off drill out and helicoil. Seal on transfer case leaking replacement.

Don't know what the final tally will be, but not cheap. Looking at about 5-6 hours labor plus parts if they can find them.

Yep I been filling it up regularly before I drive it with the 4 dollar wall mart tranny oil. It wasn't too bad, but I'm tired of being the guy that parks and leaves behind a oil slick in the parking lot.

Found a local shop that seems reasonable on the labor, and they like the truck. I tried to loosen the fitting that was cross threaded myself. It was in a bad spot and I was afraid to torque it too hard for fear of breaking it off and making a bigger mess. They broke it loose, but the threads are damaged so it will need replacement anyway.
