I was wondering where the parts were located, and where the wiring went for the rear locker.
I've got the blinky light but while I was in there, I wanted to essentially wire the switch directly to the pump so that it wasn't speed-limited or drive-limited with a safety. I'd like to bypass that so I can lock it whenever I feel the need...in 2WD or at more than 7mph.
Has anyone done this, or know which switch/sensor monitors whether or not the system will allow the diff to lock depending on Xfer case selection and speed? TIA!

I used this switch, it's aluminated orange and has a light that turns on when the locker detent is grounded (locker engaged) It basically bypasses the locker computer and makes the setup manual. 5 wires i think and the switch was 15-20 dollars.

The short answer is that you can wire the compressor straight to 12v power with a switch and fuse, and run the locker anytime. Power on = locked, power off unlocks it. The compressor has a built in pressure switch that runs the compressor until a specified (low) pressure, then switches it off unless the pressure drops. Power on also closes the locker depressure valve. When the power goes off, the depressure valve opens and the locker unlocks. This bypasses all the "safety" doodads.

Will I get a blinky light by doing this (will the car know I've bypassed doodads)?

The shorter answer is that you can ground one of the wires in the control box (behind DS cargo panel)and get 2WD locked. Not sure if/how that impacts the speed limiting aspect.

Does anyone have pictures of the locations, or said wire?! I'll try it out but I'm not sure of the system's layout. I'll check the FSM this weekend, but a photo is worth...well, you know.

If you want the dash light, wire from the compressor on wire to the light and unhook the black box light circuit. Done...

If you want the dash light, wire from the compressor on wire to the light and unhook the black box light circuit. Done... I'll have to get in there and look. I assume the 4WD control box is under the radio, but I have no idea as to the pinout, how many wires go into it, or what can safely be unplugged without affecting the system's operation. If it were up to me, I'd disconnect all of the damn "safety switches" on the Xfer box. Though I doubt I'll go through all the trouble. haha. I'll search for some related threads and try to find pics of what people have already done...I don't remember coming across this topic before and I don't fully know what you guys are talking about yet.
