I am having a Crank insert made but I need to know the thickness of the stock one! Anyone know or have a close idea??? Thanks
89 Monturbo (RIP now but the heart is in the 90!)
90 Montero with 2.6 turbo swap! (close to finished)
88 Starion MPI T3/T4 Magna M8 head.....
96 Volvo 850

well had one made 1 inch thick hope that is good enof.

Just wondering what this is for? I wasn't following.
'88 Raider. 2.6L dead...2.4L swap in progress, AT, 33's, 2 bouncy seat,AC, CC, 2.25 exh, 2" Tbar, 2" BL, rear DB, rear LSD,4.90's, SW hubs,gen2 uca's, KYB shocks, snorkel, elec fan, MSD.

I was having a custom made allinment insert that goes into the crank and alines the flexplate washers and the torque converter. Turns out 1 in was alot bigger then i needed had to grind it smaller.

A V6 torque converter is not the same size as the 4cly one. He is putting a 4cly motor in a V6 truck.
1997 Montero LS with a motor swap a 1990 V6 12valve ported heads full 2.5in Ex I run stock tire size for Daily use, off road have 33x12.5 working on going trubo.

I'm holding a crank bushing in my hand.. The Super magic low rent plastic calipers "Made in Taiwan" say .."Just under 16mm think and somewhat 40mm OD...."..
If anyone wants it I have a 2.6 auto crank bushing and the big washers under the bolts ...
