Bit of background on this 2-door: It's the winter of '89, I'm working in Rockford Michigan after moving from up from Ohio. New job with a new boss who just moved to Michigan from Southern Cal and is driving a sweet dark blue Porsche 911. He goes to lunch one day and it begins to snow. It snows all afternoon, a squall from Lake Michigan. Having never driven on snow let's just say he severely "injures" the 911 on his way home from work that evening. Next morning he shows up with a brand spankin' new bright red 2-door Raider!!!!! I fell in love with that vehicle the first second I saw it and made a metal note, "must own one of these someday".
Fast forward and over the next 23yrs I own 4 or 5 Gen-1 four doors and really like the trucks, however, my eye is always looking for a decent 2-door and never finding one. Then in early 2012 I "win the lotto", I finally find a decent 2-door with records,in excellent condition and only 35 miles from home.

Here she was:

Where did you get that ladder? I'll really like one like it.

Ladder is from jdm-motorsports on Ebay. New paint tends to make the rig "shiny"...that is until it hits the gravel back roads/forest service roads of Oregon then the shine is gone. I think it looks better dirty!

Nice! I think there's going to be more and more Gen 1's with white tops coming. Makes a big difference here in the desert for sure. Mine's green with a white top.
