Harbor Freight has these lights on sale.

I have used them for lights on the front, doing the normal relay/switch/idiot light wiring. We have a night ride coming up, and the stock reverse lights leave a little bit to be desired. Anyone had experience with wiring a light like this into the standard reverse light wire and not thru a switched relay. Bumping up the fuse is mandatory, and I'm thinking it may not be as bright as when I wire them up on the work trucks, or tractors, but it has to be an improvement over stock

I was able to replace my stock reverse bulbs for halogens, helps a little.

Direct wire would depend on amperage. On my pickup I installed the relay for add-on reverse lights behind the rear light lens for signal wire, then direct wired it to battery for power.

I would recommend to use a fuse not directly to battery smile But I have considered doing the same thing stock backup lights are not so great. for $7 thoes look pretty cool!

Yes, $7 is a great price. And they work great. They aren't silly bright like the Rigid's or all their knock-offs, but I'm not trying to blind ants on the ground either.

You could either run it directly in parallel off of the stock lights, or run it's own power source to it with a relay and run the relay power from the stock lights.

Hardrock in Ocala is only a couple hours away. Nowhere else in Florida are you gonna 200 yard hills on a 60? slope. June 8th, plenty of timeto get a schedule changed.
