I need a kick down cable for 2.8 diesel......(stretched)

Anyone have one - or know of a good source?

How are things in Thailand? Is there a large expat community there? Are you ever back in the states?

Pete, what if you get a split shot fishing weight, one of the fairly hefty 1/4" ones, and "shorten" the stretched cable with it?

No - Aussie would be next I guess - possibly the PI (relatives)...have a friend coming over in Sept (4th) from US & thought he could carry the cable with him.....they don't seem to want to order it from here for some reason (1 dealer - other dealer is useless).....Possibly a Canadian bro might pop in with a source/way.....

Thailand is an awesome place to see & live....most westerners (young/old/married/single/kids) once they've spent some time here do not like to go back to the US for more than a week or two.....you'd have to spend time here to absorb/understand - many many young US couples with children here (take teaching positions) as it's a better/nicer/friendlier place for them to raise their children....the answer to your question would basically be too long for this forum as it covers most all the facets/aspects of life.... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />....in many ways more advanced than the US.....(and yes guys - there's more tens walking around than you can begin to imagine - eveywhere).

Thinking of possibly February next year might come back to the US and maybe RV it for a month or two.......

The word from Oz is that NO 2.8 A/T's came in to Aussieland - in any vehicle....trusting someone in the Phils (relative - non car person) to get this right is a stretch and quite possibly the same answer.

I have a relative leaving the US on Sept 3 that could hand carry it if I can get one to him......
