looking to maybe set something up and have a day drive in western Washington.. thinking maybe

Elbe Hills ORV Park (DNR)
2 Hrs from Seattle. 12 miles of 4x4 trails.
Camp sites available, gazebo shelter with stone fireplace, restroom facilities, staging area
Open year round but may be buried under snow in winter

or

Tahuya (DNR)
2 Hrs from Seattle. Maybe 4 miles of 4x4 trail.
Open year round.

never been to either of these places and well i would like to get a few montero owners out on some trails. but not limited to just monteros. so if any one is intersted lets talk about it.

owned a few .. current 86 rustbucket 2.5td . manual hubs

Sounds like fun but my Raider has a coolant leak I need to fix, and I'm struggling to put food on the table let alone gas in the tank. Otherwise I'd say for sure!!

I'm in!!

I've run Tahuya quite few times and have camped there to. Might be there in two weeks. Usually go during the winter time when everything else is closed.

Depending on when this happens, I'd be willing to lead a group over the Naches trail or a run up to Gallaher Head Lake (Cle Elum Area). Both trails are doable with a well prepared stock Montero.

Or if something tamer, we could run up to the Burley Mountain Fire Lookout. Mainly forest service roads with a nice climb close to the top and one of the best views in the state.

Let me know how I can help plan.

Side note - will be running trails at Liberty this Saturday if anyone wants to join. Mostly likely tackling some of the "most difficult" trails so be prepared

I just wish you didn't have to drive 2 hours to get somewhere to go off-roading. I miss Nevada for that.

I'm a Monday thru Friday kinda guy so limited to weekends. I get out at least once a month with a regular group of guys. Anyone can join in on these trips.

"Well Prepared" is little vague. I just mean the rig is in good condition. I'm sure the diesel will do just fine.

I'm easy on what we do, I was just throwing out some additional ideas
