Thislittle guy hasbeen a complete nightmare to own. Along with a/t light and seat belt light staying on, I also have a brake light. I checked my ebrake it is all the way down and not engaged. I have flushed the brake fluid and it is full, so what could it be?

Check that the little white float/plunger inside the brake fluid reservoir is free. I've had one stick in the down position before. Just a thought.

Good point. I was so busy looking at the fluid. I did not think about the float. I will try this when I get home. Thanks

If your brakes are working and that doesn't fix the problem, just disconnect the sensor under the reservoir. I will be re-connecting mine as soon as I replace the master cylinder, which just came in yesterday from Rock Auto.

And take out the bulb for the seat belt light.

Not to worried about the seat belt. I have a spare buckle, because this one was working fine and ithink might have jammed it soitis not making a connection in the buckle and completing the circuit. If not the bulb will go.

ok so I thought the seat belt light was on because the buckle was messed up and was not making connection. So I graphed on a new seat belt that does work and light is still on. There has been a few times the light stayed off, but for the most part on all the time. What does the seat belt wires go to before going to the gauge light? I think there might be something wrong at that point

The circuit goes thru a delay box, a network of resistor gizmos, that is supposed to turn the light on for a few seconds at key on to check the bulb. If it dies, I guess it can leave the light on via the test circuit. Download the fsm and see where it's located and pull the black box nad see if the light goes off.

Thanks Eddy I found it. does anyone have a spare one? I think it got wet thats why my turn signals went out the same time. and the flasher was sloshing with water. Thats the last time I leave it at a shop. The A/T light finally turned off.
