hi, been on final exams, finally done smile and found a post here in puerto rico of a 95 sr montero blowned, anyways, i happened to be close to him and went to get the rear door bezel, which mine had broken. i was talking to him and looking around found that it was a 4.88 on the car tag smile i did not hesitate to ask, about it, he said i can take them as long as i took them out, next day, they were mine but i know the truck is stock, and never been opened, anyways how can i know if its a real 4.88??? i have the part number of the rear axle??? can some one help

Count the number of teeth on the pinion gear and the ring gear and determine the ratio of how many times the pinion would turn before the ring gear would turn once, hence the ratio.

Tried that but my, but could really tell the diference. anyways, for those who are still looking for one i ripped out eveything and took a picture of the rear ring part number, i dont know if its any help to anyone, but here it is...

also, im planning to install an aussier locker up front but i dont know what mannual hub to install on my montero i found this on ebay
