Getting the Wheeling Fever
I am thinking of putting my ARB pump in the montero and using it to run my rear locker as well since the pump just failed it seems. I know the ARB outputs 100+PSI and the mitsu locker needs 4-6PSI.

Is there a kit that will allow me to do this? Thanks!

Even if you had a regulator set to the low setting required, any mis-adjustment seems to have bad joo joo written on it.

The Mitsu pumps are not too difficult to come by.

Body Damage is Cool
Have you tested the pump to verify that it's the problem? The air locker control unit takes info from several different sources before it engage the pump, so there are far more possible causes of a non-working pump than the pump itself. Hook the pump directly to 12V and see if it runs - I'm guessing it will and that you have an electrical problem somewhere.

The stock pump will work just fine with a switch and 12v power. If you try to use another pump, you still need at least 4 other components, a very good regulator, an air release valve, a pressure switch to run the pump which turns on the pump power, run from a pressure sensor. The stock pump has the last three already built in, which is why it runs fine on just switched power.

ARB pump is a bad idea IMHO...
