The service manager from the local dealer wants my license plate frames. They are from the now defunct Lake Tahoe Mitsubishi Dealer. He collects the frames from out of business Mitsu dealers - his office is lined with them. Apparently this is a set he's been after for some time.
I told him i needed some mitsu swag or an actual paper complete gen 1 fsm. He says the fsm is a 1 in 500 shot but he'll try anyway.
What I should ask for?

The factory complete FSM for Gen 1 in print is two volumes. But I don't want your license plate frames for them. We can work something out, I'm sure. It involves beer.

DAMN! just bought them on ebay..... seriously. just paid about 5 minutes ago. i should never stop looking at this site.
but i could always use an ectra set for the shop since these will be living in the rig. the way it's going i'll probably wear a set out in the first year. yep, beer is the universal commodity.

The image in my avatar is a vinyl window stick that I got from a local dealer, the better part of ten years back now. If your guy is a collector, maybe he has a few.
It's hard to read here, and I can't remember exactly myself, but it says something like, "How tough is Dakar? Land Rover finished Xth. Mitsubishi, 5-time winner...?

Have him service your truck. New belts, hoses, plug wires, new fluids the works.
