When I got my raider the electrical connector was gone on the rear defroster, that and I need to find the wire guess it's in the rear gate some place. I found the kits to fix the grid but nothing to fix this. Can I just solder the wire to the grid with this solder paste or will it crack the window?

You should be able to soldier on the glass. A little internet searching relayed the lowest melting point for glass at about 500?F.
If you find no success with this, I have a replacement for you w/wo tint film, pay shipping only.
