Need a Spot
What brand/company makes the best diy weld in beadlock kits? Would love to have trailready or stazwork beadlocks but i cant afford them.


95 isuzu rodeo, 33in interco TSL, k&n intake, torsion bar crank and custom made shackles

81 chevy pickup, 14bolt rear w/ locker,37in interco TSL, 8in lift,3 in body lift, straight pipe exhaust. soon to have dana 60 front,and 44in boggers!

I would not recommend a DIY solution. Modifying the rim does pose DOT certification issues. But, it is your vehicle and your life...

Beadlocks are expensive. But, there is an alternative --

Personally, I like the internal beadlocks. I have been using them for 4 years with ZERO problems.

consider trailworthy bead locks for $155 each or if you have quality aluminum wheels you can send them out to be made into a beadlock by Champion i think about 200 per wheel IIRC.

Either way the DIY beadlocks are a nightmare, they come loose all the time they leak and they are just plain unsafe. I wouldn't wish them on an enemy.
