Wow kinda sad, 83 views and only one comment, ha ha.

Little info about her build.

Fully rebuilt 2.6, N/A pistons, mini van head, manual lifters, arp rod bolts and head studs, ajusa head gasket.

Stock starion 12a turbo running to a modified dsm side mount with dsm recirc valve. its got super short intercooler pipes through a ported mixer housing to a 60mm tbi throttle body.

Only running 6 pounds boost right now waiting for some bigger injectors.

System is tuned running megasquirt ms1 v 2.2 with edis ignitoin.

I think you will be very happy with the 4.63 diffs and the a/t and the turbo. The 3.92 diff I had im my turbo d50 was a little tall. Nice install, although you may not be extremely happy with the side mound i/c.

yeah it seems like a nice combo but i really need a v6 trans, its like driving a cvt transmission lol good thing i put a huge trans cooler on.

so far not the happiest about the intercooler just seems really short on space up front.

do you think in regards to the intercooler that the location is sub par or the dsm side mount is subpar?

I like the work on the valve cover. Is that dark grey paint or powder coat?

As to the gears, I have just changed the rear gears on my truck to the 4.625 from the 3.909 and like it much better. My plan is to use 33" tires, achieving the same as stock drive ratio.

There is a gent on maxd50scene.com that used a long, slender intercooler under the front bumper...still wanted to use the factory A.C. system.

Location, mostly. Space is tight on a MM in front of the radiator, though. Below is about the only choice.

The other 82 probably wanted so say the same thing as the first one, 'Very clean'. 83 posts stating the same thing would be funny though. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

My comment would be about the temp of the intake air, with the air filter being under the hood right next to the intercooler. Some sort of cold air intake would make a difference in your performance.

Yeah thats deff something i want to do, i did not realize till i had the turbo mounted how far forward it sits. now i kinda ran out of space.

the valve cover is actually painted with dupli color wheel paint so is the bottom of my truck, all secretly color coded lol
