Body Damage is Cool
Daughters rear (middle) seat ('93 SR) is at the upholstery shop getting new hides sewn up. Guy called me perplexed as to how to remove the metal seat tracks from the bottom of the seat. I'm traveling of course and can't get a look at the situation. Can somebody describe the removal process?

Ok. I took a quick look at my '92 this morning, and a better question is how does the slide lock disengage to allow the seat to slide forward/back. The front 2 bolts between the rails in the front are inaccessible in the current rail slide position. The rear 2 bolts are no issue.

I have the splits of course in the 00. Also had swapped to same in the old 95 a while back now, so can't remember. How/why does it slide? I have a recollection of a foot lever for the third row to get it to flip and slide for egress. Is there one? Does it do anything when not bolted down? How about the side lever on the second row that reclines it, does anything if you throw it the other way from reclining?

I took another look at the '92 and the temp seat in the '93 which is from a '95SR and I can remove both front bolts with a box end 14mm wrench. Shot the guy a couple photos. Waiting for his response. Doesn't seam that hard with the proper tool. No need to slide the seat on the rails.
