How to Tell which cam is Exhaust and which is Intake?

95 Montero SR 3.5 DOHC
I am thinking my non starting issue is due to swapping the intake and exhaust cams or having two exhaust cams...etc.
How and I tell which cam is which? Right now the head is in the truck but I plan to pull the plenum and pop the valve cover. From there I can change out cams....
Are there marks I can look for? Any ideas?

PA_JERO, CAP510 and Canyonero have all had this problem due to the machine shop mixing the cams up. Try contacting PA_JERO he's got engines laying around to look at.

Here is my theory...hope its right.
On the passenger side bank, the manual says you need to hold the cam sprockets when installing the T-belt. Yet, I didn't need to do this. Considering that I have spark, fuel and timing correct I am thinking I reversed the cams.
I looked at the pics...I am going to compare them to my spare set of Cam's and see if I can find the smoking gun.

Yeah, the drivers side cams will sit at the correct timing position but the passenger side I had to get 2 wrenches to hold them while I put the timing belt on. They should be under spring tension from the valves.
I would definitely double check the timing before you rip everything apart just in case.
