Well I got tired of the whining. My 2000 would start it after it fully warmed up, and drive you crazy thinking the tranny or something else was about to blow.

Here is what I did.

1. Sucked out as much of the fluid with a plunger as I could. The fluid was nasty and looked almost burn't.
2. Disconnected reservoir hoses, and pulled for cleaning. Not easy job, Bottom hose clamp was a [censored].
3. Used WallMart Carb cleaner and sprayed all the trash and gunk I could out of the bottle.
4. Reconnected hoses an install reservoir. I tried to get as much fluid out of the hoses as I could before this.

Ive seen the fancy you tube video's of the rigged up hoses to pump all of the bad fluid out. Did not have fittings to pull this off so I went the cheap route.

5. Filled reservoir with new WallMart Fluid. Cranked for about 10 15 seconds. Sucked out bad, filled with new. Repeated this about 5 times. Finally Some clear Fluid showed back up in the reservoir. I also turned wheel complete side to side on the last fill ups. Used up a couple bottles of fluid and made a mess, but Whining is GONE!!
