Getting the Wheeling Fever
when i turn ignition switch to run my tach needle jumps and there are clicking sounds coming from pass side kick panel. fuel pump also runs without cranking. sometimes when i crank over engine tach needle no move and truck wont start.

sounds like the control relay is going bad. Fuel pump should do a short run at switch on, then stop. Should run at all times while cranking. runs under ecu conrol in ign run as long as ecu sees spark.
