Like ray said, WD40. Use dialectric grease on all connectors and connections to keep water out. Also just do your best to keep the engine dry. run full skid plates.

Check your plug wires, coils and coil boots too. Claytk's truck didn't like the water the other day when we crossed the gila river. His sounded like it was missing pretty bad.

Gonna try you guy's suggestions but the funny thing is that my black SR can be submerge and does not have this problem.

I like to pin point what can be causing the engine to behave like this... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

I ordered the dialectric, should be here tomorrow.

The spark plug wires on your two vehicles are probably different or the wire end boots may be deteriorated on the one and not the other.

^This^ Also once you do this..I've found that during wet misfires the electricity seeks out the path of least resistace to ground and leaves a carbon trail behind. This will cause the problem to repeat itself even after dry sometimes as the carbon trail creates a likely path to ground.
