I think 7k is a bit much, but if it really is 100% unmolested and rust free, I could see it going for 5k even if the engine blew tonight.

I saw a starion posted on starquest club with 27k miles and he couldn't even sell it for 1200... because it was rusty. As everyone posted, it is easy to piece together or rebuild a perfect drive train, but a rust free car is extreamly rare.

Like someone sold new in box fenders and quarters for $1200 recently and I think new from rails went for 450. At those prices, i see why guys would rather pay more for a better car. (I sure wish I did when I bought my montero)

88 Montero, StarQuest turbo, Kormex 5speed +tuff-pan w/phoenix f. stage2 clutch, 4in lift+33' tires, 4.875 lsd, short-throw shifter, Aisin hubs, SR big brakes, gen2 uca's, elantra alt, and so much more... 16g turbo w/hardpipes + 4.90 locking disk-brake axle soon (maybe lsd or aussie front??)

I saw this too.
The prices of these cars' seems to be climbing slowly, and good rust free examples bring a premium. That said, I paid less than 1/2 for a very similar car, in almost the same condition. See attachment...
