Is there an easy fix for very slow or non-flashing turn sugnals? #1073815 08/19/14 02:20 PM

Anyone have a sipmple way of fixing this? I am not real aure if a new flasher or that it is even possible to get flashers? BTW where are the flashers?

the flasher relay is a common part its in the driver side kick panel toward the firewall turn the signal on with your head and a free hand listen and feel around for the click and thats the flasher relay. only thing that sucks about the after market relays is they are round and don't have a mounting bracket so you gotta tape/strap it to the harness or try the dealer for one not sure if you can get an oe anymore.

Okay . Hard part is getting it to flash... LOL

Great pic! No I haven't had a chance to look yet. On last couple classes for my BSN (took me 20 yrs!)But I certainly need to look...

If the signals are flashing slow, the flasher is bad or the load is too low, like some bulbs are burned out or have a bad connection. The opposite happens when you hook up a trailer - the extra load makes the flashing too quick. Get it going and walk around the truck...
