I've been looking all summer for a refrigerator for my trucks. Finally ran across a used Edge Star 43 relatively local. Its a couple years old. New they are about $450 shipped. The guy here is asking $350.

Anybody have good / bad things to say about them?

I bought one in 2010. (Had it drop-shipped to Moab, and picked it up when I was down there.) I've used it a lot since then, both as a fridge in the garage when I get back from a trip, and in the truck for standalone and trailer camping. Its worked stellar! Set it on 40* F and don't have to worry about melted ice. Like any 12v fridge, dedicated power is best, although I have used it a few times on a single battery on the new truck, before I got the 2nd battery hooked up.

I know the ARB fridges are great (several friends have them) but I can't justify the cost compared to my Edgestar. Its one of those purchases that makes you feel like you got a deal, IMHO.
