Does anyone remember who successfully swapped a gen 2 rear bench into a gen 1 lwb? I know i read the thread awhile ago, but my search powers are lousy and i can't find it. The measurements tell me it should fit - but it'll be tight.

Just found a full set that are in perfect condition. Even the plastic film underneath was intact.

Swapping the front seats was simple. Just elongated the holes in the gen 2 seat track by about 1/4" overall (1/8" each). The gen 2 mounting holes are just a bit further apart. Took about 45 minutes to do both. Definitely worth the effort.

What year Gen II? If 96+, you'll have to deal with the floor hoops that the spit seats have. Had to do the same when putting splits into my old 95 LS.

Can't comment on mounting the front side...

the seats are coming out of a 95 ls. solid seat - no split.

I'm pulling the donor seat today (if I can get it to flip forward). Measurements look like it will be a tight fit but should work. With luck I'll post a write up on the swap soon.

Interesting...I've been wondering if a split 60/40 seat from a Gen 3 would fit in a gen 2. I can't fold the seat forward because of a car seat in the middle.
