I'm unable to change my oil filter without making a mess. Are there any problems with putting a remote filter setup?

Body Damage is Cool
I've run one almost since new. Tried a firewall mount at first but still had some mess to clean up. I switched to dual filters mounted behind the bumper (some additional cooling) with custom hoses made at local hydraulic shop. No leaks, no mess.

My first single filter was Fram PH8A but with mount behind the bumper I've had to go to two shorter filters to get splash pan clearance. Now using PureOne PL14670. Ability to pre-fill new filters is also a plus.

I did a writeup couple years ago. Try to find it and maybe the picture will still open.

Thanks. I remember the write-up and the pix. I'll probably start under the hood. Amsoil makes a remote dual filter setup, but it's $$$.

I've done it on a lot of stuff its cake... Find a adaptor that fits and cut the hole and thred the adaptor to the bung out of the motor ...I use A/C hose and low rent weather head ends and fittings ... Then out to a cooler you may think about too..Its low psi..

No...?
