Roll Me Over

Seems like a lifetime ago now. Bought a business and started another - a 200K+ 97 F150 gets me around now and the space in the garage the mitsu occupied is now full of aluminum extrusions.
A Miller tig, a mig, 5 CNC's, a metal lathe, and no time to use them on fun stuff - thats how life goes I guess.
FWIW If you're looking to get into cnc - gryphoncnc.com is me

Good luck with the additional venture!

Seems like it used to be more lively years back.

Seems like it used to be more lively years back. Sure was... I miss the "BigBlue" days! I learned most of what I know about cars today from reading this forum back in college. I didn't even know what a "locker" was and when I saw Lloyd's red Gen 1 when I did an internet search on these trucks before I bought my first car (an 87 Montero) I knew I had to have it. 13 years later I am still driving a Montero.. although it mainly carts Luggage, Golf Equipment, and tools and my butt to the airport and back

It might surprise you to learn that Big Blue still reads a lot of posts on here. He just doesn't post anymore. I get a PM every now and then.
We need to run a Cat 5 cable* deep in the woods and get FastEddy back online.

I reckon I qualify as MIA.
Still have both Monteros, though. I don't believe I'll ever get rid of the 87. I've had it damn near as long as my wife and longer than my kids.
Learned everything I know about them either here or "the hard way."

I still troll occasionally... I don't get to wheel as much as I'd like these days. The big D is taking alot out of my liquidity...
Heh that sounded dirty.

I always liked sparkem. He knew a lot about gen 1 back in the day. I hear he is busy with a 3 year old and 9 month old. Still has the black 4 door but it needs a lot of work. It will be fixed up this year to make it last a few more years.

I just want to tell you both good luck, and we're all counting on you.
