I just saw that... someone has to fess up, who knows this guy over there? lol Maybe they should mix some prepping into the expedition driving and they wouldn't of been stuck or would of been in better spirits when found.

The problem may be the "spirits". Wife and i spent 3 months backpacking along the east coast near KinKin and Murwillumbah and never met anyone that didn't drink and some were pissed as a fart half the time. We loved it there - the people were feckin' awesome.

That country is so rugged and remote to go under equipped is truly foolish. I wont go off-road in Colorado with out a winch...A train car of spares and a welder for the Sierras.....For being a day or more from anything in the outback.....
