Body Damage is Cool

my 2 cents on original question.
In 1992 heads started coming from factory with the snap rings on the exhaust guides. '91 and previous had a TSB that describes cutting tool and snap ring installation. If heads have ever been redone, they will most likely have the snap rings on the aftermarket exhaust guides.
The Steath/Diamante had different cams. Some cams have marks on them,, but the marks change location with each production run on these so I wouldn't trust ANY markings.

Ding Ding .. We have a winner .. Info not rumors ...

Part numbers are coming up real crazy to all the 'Dont do it crowd..' As if one was to order a '89' SWB Raider cam one would not get the same cam as a '90 LWB to all Montys to Steath and so on to '02' cam ...So is a 89 SWB cam is not the same as 90 LWB on up cam ..?????...Numbers say..?

Then theres the Sigma and in JDM none USDM cars cam... ...

So not sure what to think ..? You tell me..?

Please do home work before posting ...

I think taking the insides of a later car and installing into a 'V6 SWB' block is an upgrade.. Do to pistons and cams ...(The Sigma is where the power is .I think... ) .. To bad FrankR is not around he has info on SOHC V6 12v HP ..

No one has 'hard' info on making SOHC V6 12v HP ..I have some from a 'time far far away '

I get strange info and have some old school info too ... Will see where I end up ...

(Disclamer is SWB we are dealing with... not LWB ...)

There was a 6G72 engine manual on mitsubishilinks.com at one time that had a breakdown of the cam codes. I dont think the site is up right now though.

Thanks ..I'll take a look ... Did a little work on numbers and cam and part numbers ... I'm finding a mess of differant cams ... Dont understand where the 'all cams are the same' came from ...? ..
