Body Damage is Cool
Hey guys.

Sorry I'm not around much, but I did want to drop by to tell you all that if anyone is contemplating a turbo engine swap (Starion to Montero), there's a fairly unmolested Conquest in the Pick N Pull yard here.

The turbo's gone, but the rest of the engine is there, although I'm sure it'll have to be rebuilt. The body is in pretty good shape, so the head gasket probably blew and the head's toast. Still, all the internal block goodies remain.

The entire engine wiring harness as well as the ECU are there, too.

This particular Conquest is an 87, so the intercooler's there, as well.

I don't really have time to pull it all and ship it, but if you're close, I'll go with you and can help.

The one thing I wanted were the leather front seats. Of course, they were gone...damn it.

Drop me a PM if interested.

Later, all.

87 Montero, bought new, by me -
88/89 intercooled Starion Turbo engine-
with awesome audio.
