Between OME and Ironman torsion bars, which one is better, I'm planning to buy a pair, but I don't know which one are better and why? Have anyone tried any of these? I have Rancho 9000xl shocks installed.

Body Damage is Cool
Not sure why to replace the factory torsion bars, are you carrying a heavy front load? Plow or something?

My front bumper is almost a plow jajaja, but no, I just feel that with 35 inch tires, bumper winch, the weight just gives a beating to these bars. Also, my truck has 300,000 plus miles and I feel like, I should upgrade. If I can upgrade the springs on my ram pickup, why not do the same with the Montero.

Well havn't run the t bars but pa_jero uses ironmans leaf springs and likes them i think the big thing between the two i've noticed is ironman stuff has been easier to get and sometimes cheaper. I think if your running a heavy front end you'll love the up rated tbars. I noticed a much better ride when i switched to up rated tbars on my 89 wish i had done it years before.

Yeah, well I actually found OME at least online. I cant find Ironman though, I need to do research again. I'm actually running factory torsion bars, with rancho 9000xl shock, the top shock for mits by rancho. Suspension is very comfortable with this set up, even with the big 35 inch tires, it has a dial to adjust firmness from 1-9, 1 being the softest and 9 the hardest, right now its a 3, but after 2 hour drive, I feel these bars fatigue. I'm going with the upgrade anyway, I'll put a review of which I buy and how they feel and perform. I have seen torsion bar upgrades on a dodge ram pick a friend of mine has, and the difference is very notable, the bar is thicker, and the ride is much more like when new. he had factory with 37 inch tires, it was horrible to drive, now if feels like a brand new truck.

Yep my ride was pretty much like your friends dodge and i too run 37's and was really surprised how much better the ride got when i switch to the thicker bar, it kinda made since to me since the i had the factory tbars cranked way up even indexed a couple teeth so they were just tight.
