My d/s side front tire is showing wear on the inside. I had them aligned at the dealer and the front tires went bad at 8k miles. I had them realigned at a tire shop and after another 5k the d/s is showing wear on the inside of the tread again. At $80 per alignment and $250 a tire this is getting to be costly. Not sure what is going on and neither do the guys at the alignment shop. Seems everything is tight - no play anywhere when the put it on the rack.

Will bad LCA's cause negative camber? Is it time to do them? And if it is will Gen 2 LCAs bolt in? Everything else in the front end that can be upgraded to Gen 2 has been. The LCAs are the final piece.

Isn't that the same wheel that fell off while slowly driving down the road? Could the spindle have shifted giving you a camber while driving?

Take it back to the place that did the alignment, show them the tire wear and ask their opinion. They might be willing to throw it back on the rack for an alignment check just to help you diagnose the issue.
