Need a Spot
Hope this is the right spot to post a "I need". Sorry it it isn't, admin please just move this to the correct place. Thanks.
Looking for an OEM 2 barrel carburetor for my 1987 Raider Sport. The one I have is really fouled up inside and refuses to come apart so I can rebuild it. Appears that it was never worked on before now.

Really don't want to spend a fortune on one. Already spent more for a replacement fuel tank/lines/pump than I paid for the vehicle.

1987 Dodge Raider Sport...first one but certainly not the last I'll own.

Drop the "Sport" talk. It just doesn't mean anything. It's just a Raider.

I've got one. I can put it in a box for you. How much is it worth to ya?

It'll need a rebuild and a cleaning, but it's all there. Private message me.

There was one for sale recently on Craigslist in SE Michigan - near Walled Lake I think - needed a gas tank etc. Kept offering the seller what he was asking for it, but he didn't respond to inquiries. I finally gave up right after New Year. Nto like I needed another project anyway, but it seemed like it had a lot of other new parts. It was a silver 87. The picture he had posted of it was on a trailer.

I have a lot of spares - not so much for a 2.6L 4cyl, but I still keep spare glass, trim, instruments, switches, etc. I'm local so if you ever need anything, just send me a PM. You're well to swing by sometime and see my 89 LWB project and the Mighty Max I'm driving.
