My tensioner in my SR practically fell apart upon removal. Because of this the belt skipped and Montero stopped running about 3 months ago. Towed it to my mechanic about 2 weeks ago. He put on a new tensioner and set the timing correctly. Everything worked!
Went ahead and got a new belt and all the goodies associated with it as well as a new water pump. Also replaced cam and crank seals.
Monty starts right up and purrs.
