CV Joint removal

Okay,
I got the CV axles out and I removed the torn inner boots
I removed the clip on the outboard side of the inner joint.
But I still can't remove the joint
does anyone know the next step?
I tried getting one of the balls out to start removing the cage but it doesn't seem to flex that far.

There's a circlip holding the star in place, likely covered in grease.

Yup, Once I cleaned out more grease I found the second clip. its a wire like clip that goes around the inside perimeter of the cup.
I got them apart. cleaned greased and re booted and everything is back together.
