have a 86 montero has a mid 90s 4d56
any help would be great . main problem not charging
played around looked . so there is one wire from the original harness and there is two hook ups on alternator . if i switch the one wire to the other hook up and run a test wire from alt to batter it will charge how ever the battery light on dash stays on and i am worried that it might over charge battery .
is it safe to run a wire from alt to battery ??
