 Gen 1 SWB fuel pedal stop

Getting the Wheeling Fever
|
Behind the gas pedal there's a hole where I believe a pedal stop of some kind fits. (directly behind the pedal/ sticks out of the carpet) I looked in all parts and service manuals I have and saw no mention of one being there, also did a google image search and couldn't find anything. I've never seen anything there in all my gen I's. You can also confirm this by checking the Mitsu ASA program to see if there was a part available for it.

Maybe a rubber stop thingy, my Mitsubishi eclipse had one.

I've seen one with a small rubber nipple...1 out of 14 Gen I's I've had.

The 88 had a little rubber mushroom headed thing that was there. Neither of them at the house now have it though.
