Getting the Wheeling Fever

Behind the gas pedal there's a hole where I believe a pedal stop of some kind fits. (directly behind the pedal/ sticks out of the carpet) I looked in all parts and service manuals I have and saw no mention of one being there, also did a google image search and couldn't find anything. Asking for anyone with a stock GEN1 to snap a pic of what is there from the factory, this is what I am looking at.

I've never seen anything there in all my gen I's. You can also confirm this by checking the Mitsu ASA program to see if there was a part available for it.

Maybe a rubber stop thingy, my Mitsubishi eclipse had one.

I've seen one with a small rubber nipple...1 out of 14 Gen I's I've had.

The 88 had a little rubber mushroom headed thing that was there. Neither of them at the house now have it though.
