Getting the Wheeling Fever
Hi All,

Been off the forum for a long time but have been skulking again for a little while. Anyway I've got a spare 6G74 with a bad cylinder sitting in my parts SR and I've been trying to figure out what I want to do with it. I'd like to rebuild the block and heads and have a fresh motor to drop in my running SR. But since I've got time and dont need the motor in a rush it got me thinking about how to get more power out of it. I came across the 4.0L stroked 74 forums but it sounds a bit much for me and pricey to boot. So now I'm thinking about trying to find a 3.8 block and using the 3.5 heads. Anyway does anybody have any ideas on what would be best to squeeze a little more juice out of the 6G74.

Also Charlie put a 3.8 under 3.5 DOHC heads, don't worry though there isn't a writeup and the pictures that were on the internet are likely gone.

Post up on classic colt forum circle and ask
