I Am About To Try The Air Plenum Mod , and stabilize the intake valves in the open position ...
So What i really want to know ...Are There any recent up dates ,or results on this change ..it`s a 1994 montero3.5 sr
179.000 miles still running strong except for the intake air plenum issue ??? any one ???

The results are that you will loose low end torque by fixing the variable intake butterflies in the open position.

What are you hoping to accomplish by fixing it in the open position? If the shaft bushings are worn to where the shaft has any slop in it, the butterflies will still be able to work loose and be swallowed by the engine regardless of whether they are open or closed.
