MY 97 HARDBODY 4CYL RATTLES LIKE CRAZY AFTER IS STARTED. IT SOUNDS LIKE A BEARING OF SOME SORT, BUT RECENTLY I HAVE REPLACED THE ALTERNATOR AND CHECKED ALL OF THE PULLEYS FOR WORN BEARINGS. WHAT COULD BE CAUSING THIS???? IT USUALLY GOES AWAY AFTER A WHILE.

Sorry for the late response...I don't check this forum much anymore.

Did you check the clutch fan? Have you tried to pinpoint where the noise is coming from? That would help some...otherwise, it's kinda difficult to sugest what your problem might be.

Without knowing where this noise is coming from, it could also be as simple as a loose/rattling exhaust heat sheild.
