Hey Chris, I was impressed with your choice of camper. Out of all of the choices, Coleman has the best platform/construction IMHO although they are spendy. I wish the other manufacturer's would move over to the one-piece molded top rather than the cheaper chip-board laminate tops most others have.

I just can't tell you how many leak-issues I had to deal with over the 2-years I worked in an RV shop. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/ignore.gif" alt="" />

Good seeing you again and nice meeting Katie.

Cheers,

Yeah I thought that camper was great. I just wish it was mine <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> It is Katie's brothers' who also happens to own a VX and will be coming in the spring I hope. I dont think he would wheel on anything other than just the absolute easiest but would love to come anyway!

Thanks Andre!

All I can say is that it sure felt a whole lot more dramatic from the driverÆs seatà
That first time, when all of the weight shifted to the rear, I honestly wasnÆt sure that it was gonna stop!

I hit that same spot again the next night, with Doug riding shotgunà
IÆm prohibited from quoting him exactly, but when I asked if it was just like riding with Lisa, his response leaned decidedly (and quite colorfully!) toward the negative. --- Then, when I blipped the throttle - planting the nose firmly down onto the bank, about 10-inches away from a tree - he blurted something about my æMucho Wavos CohunesÆ

No kiddingà There is actually a LINE in the material of my passenger seat now! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />

My new favorite equation:
M/Ts + Lock Right + Tera Lows = <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/evil.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/evil.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/evil.gif" alt="" />

Cheers! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

thanks to Doug (bansil) for making us all laugh our butts off
thanks to Robby for taking me out. Hope to see you soon, with the rodeo SAS'd and caged <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/coolg.gif" alt="" />
thanks to BigPoppa for all the insigt into the troop. Seeing that trooper really cleared somethings up for me.
Thanks for pete for the awesome video and letting me see my first broken CV ( which i hope will be fixed soon,) and for the great ride in the Rodeo Sport.
And thanks to everyone else that made this weekend awesome.

oh yeah, guess who i saw at the outpost on sunday? The tan Zuki and some of his friends. They were talking trash about our trucks. One of the guys was telling another that robby didnt stop, and that he bashed the "crud" out of his truck and all that. I was about this [ ] close to hitting that guy. Sheesh <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />

I really had a great time wheeling with everyone. My larger Rodeo took a little getting used to, but I like it a lot better. Special thanks go out to Smiley for all the chefs duties and Pete for the awesome video he put together and of course Janet the <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />"ULTIMATE" Uwharrie Host <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />, thanks for taking care of me and the others that came up from SORA. I didn't get to wheel much with the Group Saturday due to helping the Forest Service cut/winch down a very large tree that was in danger of falling and injuring someone and some other stuff. Look forward to next time

Joe

A little old lady once asked me why I have those big heavy bumpers on my truck, I responded "if I bump into something, I win!!" "BTW, I did bump into a Chev Minvan at about 30 MPH...it lost!"
