Lynn, thanks very much for checking in and giving everyone some info.

I'll be arriving LATE Thursday night (between midnight and 2am, depending on traffic and when I can leave work). If I can swing a 1/2 day at work, I may be there sooner.

Sorry for the lax organization on this one fellas, but I've been so busy at work and home that I've hardly had time to even check the BBS. For the purpose of getting a count, could anyone who is coming please send me an email at fort.knox@verizon.net with your name and information on your rig. Thanks!

So, there will some wheeling going on Friday then?

I already had plans on Sat afternoon and Sunday so I didn't think I'd be able to make it, but if there's going to be some wheeling on Friday too, I may come up for the day.

Has anyone came up with a plan as to what trails are going to be riden each day or is it just freeballing?

I'm planning on wheeling on Friday. Too far to drive to only wheel 1 day!

As for the trails, I've never been to RC, so for right now we're kinda freeballing. If anyone would like to lead some trails, please PM or email me.

For those of you asking about getting there on Thursday and wheeling on Friday, there will be plenty of people doing that. I should be there around 3:00 or 4:00 on Thursday. There will be at least a handful of us from TTORA-VA there on Thursday afternoon.

Allen, I've only been there about 3 or 4 times and haven't totally learned all the trails, but I'll guide groups on the upper blue trails and/or lower blacks as needed.

Cool. Thanks dude! I'm sure it shouldn't be a problem. Hopefully we have enough seasoned wheelers that someone in each group can at least read a map.

Het Allen, I do plan to be there sometime late Thursday afternoon. I will be leaving Matthews, NC around 5a-6a. It takes me about 11-12 hours to get up there if I remember correctly.

As for this map reading skills thing .. I got to be designated map reader last year at Paragon when I broke my front diff. Does that count ???

BTW, depending on what time you are heading out of your neck of the woods maybe we can hookup and caravan up to RC as we did before to Paragon. If you still have the seal issue I have a present for you in the back of my rig supplies. It would have come in handy for you last year! I will PM you with my contact info unless you still have it from last year. Look forward to more fun in the mud!!!

Allen,

I will be getting there Friday night with Sean (Convertiyota from Pirate). I promised you last year I would guide a Black/Red group this year, and it still stands. I will be wheeling Saturday and Sunday morning-mid afternoon. I have bee nto rausch creek enough to know the trails.

John

You guys are gonna need some better rigs to run those trails.

I don't think I will be able to make it this year so I look forward to the pictures and stories.

Someone, Joe or another mod really needs to put a post with a sticky in the Early Trucks and 4Runner and SUV sections about this trip. I doubt most know it is even happening except those that have gone in past years.

I'll be there next year.
