MegaRun was cool. Thanks for all the Isuzu folks that came out to support me (Pete3). In the mild class there was a Jeep on 33s w/ a rear locker. He was at the max points to be in "Mild" - 35 pts. He did very well...

Lots of rigs were there - Toyotas, Chevys, Fords, Suzukis, 2 Isuzus (Pete3 and Bucket), and a few Jeeps.

I ended up doing ok, taking 3rd place in the obstacle course. Not too tough, but with some hairpin turns, small hill (barely scraped my xfer case skid)some whoops, a big donut (TOD actually helped!) and then accellerating 100 yards into a cone, then backing 45 degrees into another cone to stop time. BucketTrooper did well.

Sunday we went back and ran some level 3 trails - L&B Turnpike, Sunday Cruise, Spyder Ravine, and JPauls expressway. Pete's welded 12 bolt works great. I am looking at adding sliders and maybe a locker. Too bad the lock-rite isn't ready. ARB is too much $$$.

So, when are we going again? March 18-19?

I never received a page until Sunday night after 6:30. Oh well I almost have the Rodeo up and running right again. I hope you guys that went had lots of fun. The weather was nice from what I could see outside my patio. Well at least I got to watch UFC 58 Saturday night. Hey Bucket, you neighbor up to helping fix that axle oil seal and getting the aussie back in?

man, you guys missed out on some great wheelin'!! we really put the "bucket trooper" and the "fred lobster trooper" to the test. that's the most i've ever asked out of the old trooper.

actually it's just the 10 bolt (drum brakes). i was extremely impressed. randy got some really great video footage of me dumping 4.5 psi out of my front tire very quickly...man i got lucky on that one!! and going through that off camber cut out, catamaran style, with randy as a counter weight was pretty hairy too. i didn't have an inch to spare before getting into my glass..now that was quite a sight from the inside.

i had a great time with you guys and i'm looking forward to the next trip.

congrats on the 3rd place in the obstacle course bucket!
