Getting the Wheeling Fever
Hey all

I thought I would share some pics from recent snow runs up Mormon Emmigrant Trail out of Pollock Pines,CA.
The last one I did with a friend and his Blazer and it got interesting when I got a little stuck getting him unstuck at night.. Ahh but we made it out God Bless the Hi-Lift! Of course, it was my 4 Runner that yanked his ass out heh!
After we stopped at a local bar down the hill to sedate ourselves from the ordeal

Heres the link.

Roll Me Over
If I'm not mistaken he competed in Four Wheeler's Top Truck Challenge. If memory serves, it had a GM 2.5, D44's and the ability to float. For some reason, I think it even had a propeller.

Holy Crap is there snow!
Ya Russ it's not bad the last pics in my album are from last Saturday. We almost got stuck up ther cus the Blazer got stuck and I made an attempt to yank him which sorta got me stuck till I Hi Lifted him and pulled him over ....Then I got slack back in the strap and got loose and turned around and yanked him out with from my back side. Amazing what facing downhill will do for ya! We were only at 4800 ft Lat weekend and it was thick. I could have gone on but the Blazer was wee bit heavy..(Yea lil SUV's)

Im Sorry I missed meeting you and hangin with Jed But Family matters took precedent. (Dad is still kickin but time is short shall we say.. ...

We will get snow this weekend I'm sure and It will be around for a few weeks still at about 6000 ft. I think the fun is settign a base camp and going from there. the other fun is messin with the people who come from SAC and have no clue of Snow Wheelin...
Check back anytime if you are up for a run in the next couple weeks.Anybody else from the area welcome too!
Cheers

Tom
