Here's some vids, son...
I will repost Scott Yoder's post on the club forum, I doubt Scott will mind. Unless it brings down his server <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/ignore.gif" alt="" />

The last one is impressive footage of a bone-stock FJ Cruiser doing its thing. Followed by a locked Pig.
******************************************
Ok, I fired up Pinnacle Studio 8 and made some videos and posted them. Nothing spectacular but here they are:

The first one is me going over the Optional Rock (YoderRock) with Oleg in the background. 3.5 mb

Next are a few of us going over Whale Rock. My dad messed up any footage of me in the FJ Cruiser. Wait till you see Farnham in his 100 series though. 4.6mb
http://www.yodertech.com/FJRun/WhaleRock.wmv
[edit:] The bobbed bed red/gray camo minitruck is 88Toytruck hisself... not bad fer a kid. Not bad at all.[/edit]

Then we have a 40 going over the double slab (not sure who it is) and FJ Lead Driver Chris getting the FJ stuck on the last obstacle called Sheps Revenge. You can see where he tried to back out and got hung up on the loose skid plate that I tore up. 5.8mb

Next are various people getting through Sheps Revenge, some people made it look easy and others found the line you don't want to take. The 80 series, I'm not sure who it was, smashed his tail light (video stopped just before the breakage). 6.9mb

This last video is Robbie trying to get his FJ through this obstacle. Chris was trying to take him low, but then got him through on the high line. Evidently on their pre-run the low line worked better for them for some reason. You can see the traction control not kicking in when stopped and stuck. That's common, but it still does a better job than the previous generation traction control that I'm used to seeing on the 4Runners. 6.5mb

Fun example of the virtues of old iron:

And newer, supercharged 3.4 and three-link virtues:

Old Chinaman's Gulch, near Buena Vista, CO. The trail was in excellent shape, no trash at ALL. No significant erosion, all was as I remember it.

Props to the club that sponsors and maintains the trail. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

Here is our club discussion of the post-run. A fine time had by all except for those who finished an axleshaft swap on an FJ60 around 2AM... in the snow... in the wind... ewww, makes me cold just to think about it.

Great pix, unfortunately I cannot link you to them directly, only to the club thread.
