Had a great time!
No damage to the truck other than some new dents in the front skidplate.

Smiley, Zman, Bansil & Anibus - The food was great! Thanks for cooking. Good stuff.

Having a popup camper rocks! I am spoiled. Don't know if I will ever go back to a tent. lol The gears did well. It was nice having a lower crawl ratio on the trails. It also pulled the camper with ease and I got 16.5 mpg cruising between 70-80.

My future brother-in-law came out on Sat morning and stayed till Sun. I believe he is hooked. He wants a 4 wheel drive now. lol He had a great time and enjoyed the dinner on Sat night too.

Here are my pictures. Can't wait to go again.

No big damage to report. Little tree rubbage on the rain gutters sliced sidewall on the brand new tire itll take a boot to fix it.

We went on a sunday night run when DRaider90 finally showed up. Mike somehow managed to run over a stick and it got wedged between the gas tank and a crossmember. Took 20 minuntes on my back in the mud to get it out then another 10 to get the fuel lines back on that it knocked off. It was a run and shouldn't of gone on it in the rain. Not to mention the Xterra we ran into . Thats all I got pictures are still on the camara. Just finished unpacking and demudding the interior of the Raider.

Yeah I showed up Sunday at 4pm figuring there might be at least a few people left like the December trip. I was planning on being up there saturday, but I got called into work. Then my plans were for an early sunday arrival, but those got delayed waiting on Steven who REALLY wanted to go. Anyway, I ran into Roger (pastor) airing up at the outpost, and oddly enough he warned me about Dutch John, more info on that later. So I went up to Rocky Mnt Loop to meet up with Chris, but I missed them so I caught up with them at the campsite.

To make this as short and concise as possible I suggested we do something easy like Falls Dam because it was raining, and daylight was limited. But we took Slab Pile and Dutch John instead (Pastor had warned me about the Xterras). Anyway made it almost all the way through Dutch John then Chris pulled a Sparkem and got a log wedged underneath (I got a cellphone pic of him underneath the Raider, will get it up soon). We then took what we thought was an alternate route and ended up at a dead end. On the way out I fallowed chris over this massive log (I sort of went around it the first time), and the first peice of damage hit my foot. The 3" Speaker behind the front dash had gotten knocked out from the major jolt. I also later found out the log busted my exahust off at the muffler, so it now matches the silver raider.

After a hellish tug and pull in the pouring rain up the last now super sloppy hill we made it back to camp and headed home. Always fun airing up in the rain . It was fairly fun fishtailing around going up hills (thank god for the mud banks on the sides), and what not. But then it was down hill from Chris's breakage. Probably the first and last time I take the red truck out there for a while. Hopefully I can get the silver truck trans fixed, I can't afford to have two busted trucks. But for only having owned the Red truck less than a month, it proved itself, and has the purple daypass to prove it.

Sorry I missed all the fun guys, I really wanted to make it for the majority of the weekend. As chris said I did "finally make it", maybe should have stayed home . Look forward to hearing all the stores and seeing all the pics from the trip.
