We are going to Callantee on the 1st for a day ride.We are going to explore a few trails and see where they go,this is more of an expedition run than a "trail run".We won't be doing the normal trails.

Here is a link to my yearly event. For info and pics from last 3 runs.

Callntee info pics page 3

It is about 2 miles from Mnt.city on US91

It costs $10 per vehicle.

We will meet about 8-ish and leave on the trails at 9am.

Vehicle scratches are possible, very possible actually.

Pack lunch we will eat on the trail.

Make sure you bring plenty of water etc. it'll be hot.

We'll have:

1 Amigo w/winch and lock'd (bansil)
1 Rodeo w/winch and lock'd (MamaTurtle)
1 SAS'd Trooper w/winch and lock'd (JoeD)
1 Montero w/winch and Kinda lock'd (icysyrup)

Let me know if anyone is interested.

You need a fullsize spare tire also.

This is going to be fun,you don't need a winch, just letting everyone know that capable rigs will be there and we will stagger rigs around.

This is a fun place to wheel,it is technical, and can be made very hard if you want.

Any ?'s let me know.

Hope to meet some folks out there.

Would love to go, but I'll be out of town that day - Sudan, Africa. Eventually I need to get down there to finish the Appalachian Trail in VA. Have a great time.

Pete

So who's going, I plan on being there

Joe

A little old lady once asked me why I have those big heavy bumpers on my truck, I responded "if I bump into something, I win!!" "BTW, I did bump into a Chev Minvan at about 30 MPH...it lost!"

Guys: I'm a maybe. I'm not getting back to TN until late Friday PM. Not sure if wife will let me take a trip after being gone for last 7 days. I will touch base if things work out.

Gosh....I HATE to say this but I am going to have to sit this out. I have been gettin ready for this since wednesday and can offically say that the Monty was packed at 7pm tonight......but......then the wife(pregnant wife that is ) came home from work and had to go into the walk-in clinic and found out she has Bronchitis

So I have to stay home and take care of her and my son who is just on the tail end of a bad cold. It seems like everyone here locally has come down with a bad cold. (My buddy caught strep last week). I just am a little irritated that it had to happen this weekend, cause I was REALLY looking forward to doing some exploring. I am really sorry Doug that I have to back outta this one.
