Those are fun trails to run. For more write-up info also check out californiajeeper.com's website.

I can't make it out. Family commitments and I'm waiting on a part (1 of 2 big bolts that holds one of my trailing arms in place) before I'll call the monty truly road worthy.

This event has had difficulties:

1) some people had changes in their plans;
2) Rubo's Rodeo is (temporary) broken;
3) The weather in Sierra is awful, especially for camping.

We have to move the trailride to the next Saturday. By that time, hopefully, everything will be fixed and the weather will improve.

I can't do next Saturday, as I'll be on Rubicon, but do post up pictures of your adventures, regardless!

With any luck at all, the Forest will lift the fire restrictions and we can all have campfires again in safe locations -- the weather has taken a real cold snap!

missed you in deer valley. i went in friday and camped before the second creek xing.
satuday started with a mix of rain and snow that changed to rain showers for the rest of the day.
sunday i was unable to climb the hill past the second xing.
high centered 1/2 way up.
watched a couple of modified jeeps climb it after i jacked out.
had to go back to blue lakes to get home.
hope to meet in the future.

Since our Rubicon run was officially canceled, I'm considering joining you guys in this run, this weekend is pretty much the last opportunity I have to go wheeling before my soccer playoff starts!
Me and Russel were talking about it the other day and if you guys like, we could meet-up at my house in Lathrop Friday night, get a good night sleep and drive to the trail head early Sat morning. It's an option to consider... unless you guys already have other arrangements.
Please confirm if this run is still happening and who is all coming.

Truck's still broke (waiting for the parts from Jerry).
Started a new job yesterday, will see how it goes.

If will get the parts before friday, may be able to drive friday night & meet you guys saturday morning, somewhere.

If not, than you guys have fun & take lots of pics.
