Body Damage is Cool

It has been many many moons since I posted on here, but I took upon the task of getting the Raider road ready today with only a limited level of success. Wasps removed from vehicle, check. 2 New Tires ($600 later), check. Got vehicle running, check. It's now almost 8pm and I go to add some fresh fuel and find out it's dumping fuel on the ground. Took the drivers rear tire back off, removed the inner fender panel (busted one of the 3 10mm bolts, woohoo), and confirmed there is a slice at the bottom of the fuel filler hose near the clamp that attaches it to the gas tank. I kept the fuel tank low during it's time sitting, so it's basically empty (and I won't run what ever junk is at the bottom of the tank through the vehicle).
I remember there were threads on issues with the fuel filler hose, mainly extending it on the "3 Body lift on the Gen 1s so I looked around. Can't find any threads with current solutions (parts links don't work anymore) to this issue.I am guessing there is a generic part replacement, but something tells me if my memory serves correct replacing the hose can be a PITA (thinking even worse possibly with a "generic part"). I have the Silver Raider and Brown Montero sitting in the back yard that could donate hoses, but since they are all 88's I don't know if its worth replace an old rubber hose with another one.
A friend that was helping me today suggested JB Weld, but I don't know how well that would hold up to semi constant exposure to fuel. I just need to get the Raider going until I can replace my DD (Mazda 626) that got totaled a couple weeks ago when a lady next to me lost control and slammed us both into the concrete barrier. I just dumped $600 into the vehicle, so not being able to fill it up with fuel is a really stupid problem to have. Any help appreciated.

Hi Eli! Nice to see you back. I got a foot from NAPA, took 20 minutes to replace.

Getting the Wheeling Fever

the easiest way to fix it is drive over here near Fayetteville and get my 89 SWB Montero that I can never seem to get time and/or money to keep running and replace it with my tank that had had the leaky hose situation welded up. You could have saved the 600 that you spent on tires. 2 engines (1 locked, 1 installed, maybe bad) 3 distributors, 3000 miles on tires, clutch, clutch slave cylinder. yadda yadda. I had issue with it leaking, shop that was doing the work was supposed to fix it, so they did something and welding something in. It quit leaking.
