Believe the thread said, use the axles out of the 2001 or newer but cannot remember what model. I've searched but can not find the thread. Can anyone point me to the thread or explain the process. Also, can the axles be straight swapped or do the just gears get moved. TOASTY Trail Leader To swap the complete housing you need the AWD housing, you can ID these by the AWD badge on the truck or the lack of a vacuum disconnect on the diff (no rubber boot thingy.
